Zsuzsanna is a Hungarian piano artist, born in 1975, in Marosv\u00e1s\u00e1rhely (Targu-Mures), Romania.<br \/>\nSince 1989, Zsuzsanna has given concerts and piano recitals in many cities of Hungary, Romania, Spain, France, Germany and the USA.<br \/>\nShe received her high school Diploma at the Marosv\u00e1s\u00e1rhely Art School, a time during which she studied piano with Professor Zolt\u00e1n Sz\u0151nyi. In 1999, she received her Bachelor of Science Degree at Transylvania University in Brasso (Brasov), with a major in piano performance in the class of Stela Dragulin. She graduated as valedictorian of the year.<br \/>\nFrom 1993-2002 Zsuzsanna regularly attended the International Master Courses taught by well known piano artists like Tatiana Pikaizen, Stela Dragulin, Lory Walfish, Bal\u00e1zs Szokolay, Istv\u00e1n Lantos, and Jen\u0151 Jand\u00f3.<br \/>\nZsuzsanna has extensive Teaching Experience; from 1999-2000, she was a Piano Teacher and Accompanist at Transylvania University in Brass\u00f3. From 2000-2001 she was also a Piano Teacher and Accompanist at the Marosv\u00e1s\u00e1rhely Art School. Since 2001, she has been a Private Piano Teacher with the Ann Arbor (MI) Piano Teachers Guild.<br \/>\nRegarding her performing experience, from 1989-2002, Zsuzsanna gave numerous concerts and piano recitals in many cities of Hungary, Romania, Spain, France, Germany and the USA.<br \/>\nFrom1995-2001, she was a member of the award winning \u201cArmonia\u201d chamber music assemble, which performed numerous concerts in with great success in many Romanian cities. From 2000-2001 she was the \u201cPiano Artist\u201d with the Marosv\u00e1s\u00e1rhely Symphony Orchestra, and had many national and international concerts and recitals.<br \/>\nSince 2000, she has served as the Organist and Music Director of Holy Cross Hungarian Roman Catholic Church, Detroit, MI.<br \/>\nHer professional memberships include The Hungarian Arts Club, Ann Arbor Area Private Piano Teachers Guild, Michigan Music Teachers Association, Music Teachers National Association.<br \/>\nZsuzsanna Balla\u2019s repertoire includes a wide pallet of piano lyrics from Bach to Janacek, but she is especially attracted by Chopin and Mozart.<br \/>\nIn the past two years, she has toured the country from Chicago to Los Angles, performing four-hand piano music with another talented Hungarian pianist, Tom Sz\u0151r.
