Many of the students are\u00a0from small villages where high schools are not available. After finishing high school, they go on to study at both\u00a0Hungarian and Romanian universities. The Reformed Church, as well as the Catholic and Unitarian Church,\u00a0provides Hungarian language education that is the basis for the survival of the Hungarian community.\u00a0Due to her fundraising success, the 1.5 million dollars she has collected have enabled several thousand\u00a0Hungarian students to attend the Kolozsv\u00e1r Reformed High School and similar institutions. These funds have\u00a0also made possible the building of several Koll\u00e9giums (dormitories) as well as the repair of some of the old\u00a0buildings the Hungarian churches re-acquired, after many years of fighting for them, as restitution from the\u00a0Romanian government.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More information in our attachment.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2012.
