Dr. István Hargitai DDS, MS, Capt.,

will present a discussion on “Managing Chronic Pain”. CAPT Hargitai is currently the Chairman of the Orofacial Pain Center at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, Maryland. His lecture will be in English.

Just a little more…CAPT Hargitai is originally from Cleveland, he is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, School of Dentistry and has a Master’s in Oral Biology from the George Washington University. His Naval assignments have included Camp Pendleton, California; Okinawa, Japan; Yokosuka, Japan; Naples, Italy; and Bethesda.  While growing up in Cleveland, he was active with the Hungarian Scout troop #14, the Hungarian RegösScout Folk Ensemble, and attended the IttOtt conferences. He keeps his cultural heritage close to him as an assistant scout master with Hungarian Scout troop #4, Washington D.C., and as a board member on the Hungarian House Washington search committee.
