Dr. Istvan Hargitai, DDS,MS,CAPT USN (Washington, DC) CAPT Hargitai is currently the Chairman of the Orofacial Pain Center at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, Maryland. Originally from Cleveland, he is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, School of Dentistry and has a Master’s in Oral Biology from the George Washington University. His Naval assignments have included Camp Pendleton, California; Okinawa, Japan; Yokosuka, Japan; Naples, Italy; and Bethesda. While growing up in Cleveland, he was active with the Hungarian Scout troop #14, the Hungarian Scout Folk Ensemble and attended the Itt Ott conferences.
