Note: program may change. — This year’s Hungarian Congress will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Hungarian Association in America. Our Planning Committee, including Etu Alapi, Dr. Ildikó Kondray, Panni Ludányi, Gabriella Nádas, Ildikó Peller, Dr. Márta Pereszlényi, Lél Somogyi, and myself, has been hard at work to organize a Hungarian Congress which will appeal to Hungarians old and young, traditional and modern in thinking.

Our special guest, Major General Robert Iványi, personally highlights the ongoing transition of Hungarians in America. His career has taken him from being a renowned football star on the Cleveland St. Ignatius H.S. 1965 city championship team to being the Commandant of the U.S. Army War College. Our gala of Fine Art Galleries will showcase exemplary works by György Kozmon, Imre Bogárdy, András and Magdi Temesvári, and György Búza. Our Hungarian Association Bookstore will feature classical and modern Hungarian literature. We will have a special Style Show and Exhibition of exquisite Hungarian garments and finery.
