The 54th Hungarian Congress – Tibor Farkas

Tibor FarkasThe 54th Hungarian Congress

November 28th, 2014

Booksigning and short synopsis given by

Tibor Farkas,

aeronautics engineer, author

The author shares memories of his family, as the winds of war swept them from Transylvania to Germany and back again to Hungary. There the revolution of 1956 freed family members from prison and their only choice was escaping to the free world. Mr. Farkas also writes about his student days in Cleveland, focusing on his experiences in that large, displaced Hungarian community. Today home is Los Angeles. The book has recorded a bygone era. The story has been shared by many Clevelanders, and so we are grateful for this literary adaptation of oral history of the times.
